Vyso cookies policy

Cookies that support auth, speed, and a smoother experience.

Last updated: July 12, 2026. This policy explains how Vyso uses cookies and similar technologies, what choices you have, and how to change them.

1. What are cookies (and similar technologies)

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and SDKs — that work the same way for the purposes of this policy. Cookies can be first-party, set directly by Vyso; third-party, set by a service we use; session, deleted when you close your browser; or persistent, remaining until they expire or you delete them.

2. Cookie categories we use

The categories below describe the cookies we use and why.

CategoryPurpose
Strictly NecessaryRequired for secure Clerk sign-in, session continuity, load balancing, and core site functionality. No — the Service will not function properly without these.
FunctionalRemembers preferences like UI layout, theme, and workspace defaults so the experience is consistent on return visits. Yes.
AnalyticsHelps us understand feature usage and improve performance and reliability. Set only with your consent. Yes.
Marketing / PreferencesSupports product updates and early-access or waitlist communications. Set only with your consent. Yes.

3. Legal basis & consent

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because they are essential to providing the Service you requested. All other categories — functional, analytics, and marketing — are only set after you actively consent through our cookie banner or preference center. You can withdraw consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it, and doing so takes effect for future visits rather than retroactively deleting data already processed.

Where you have not made a choice, non-essential cookies remain off by default.

4. Managing your preferences

You can change your cookie choices at any time.

  • In-app: use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer or Settings → Privacy to open the preference center and toggle categories individually.
  • Browser controls: most browsers let you block or delete cookies via settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will affect sign-in, session continuity, and core features.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): we detect and honor GPC signals as an opt-out of non-essential cookies for supported browsers and extensions, consistent with CCPA/CPRA.
  • Do Not Track (DNT): because there is no unified industry standard for DNT, we do not currently respond to browser DNT signals — use the preference center or GPC instead.

5. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by services we rely on to operate Vyso, including our authentication provider (Clerk) and analytics provider(s). These third parties may process data under their own privacy policies in addition to ours. See our sub-processor list for the full set of providers.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update the “Last updated” date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be reflected in the cookie banner so you can review and re-confirm your preferences.
